Cameron LaForest is a professional drummer from Phoenix, Arizona starting his career at a very young age. Recently reaching 30, he is still considered a kid by many in an endearing way. He was raised in a family with a great passion for music and surrounded by many who are respected musicians. He has been involved in many musical settings developing his own sound and style unlike any other and is a natural. Cameron is a young dynamic drummer and percussionist who brings solid feel, time and artistry to any project. Playing with many local and touring bands of various styles he plays well beyond his years.

He possesses smooth, quick hi-hat rhythms with the ability to play like a metronome and going into explosive, powerful and melodic patterns and textures hooking the listeners. Cameron has many styles he enjoys such as progressive rock, funk, jazz and jamband flavors. He is always taking note of influential drummers and musicians alike for inspiration. He performs nice grooves with a strong ability to get with fellow musicians, always open to experimenting with new techniques as a tool for growth. Drum rudiments and reading was an important step at a younger age to make this happen. He is proven to be invaluable with his unique approach and ability to find a nice pocket and allow the band to showcase their styles. Like an onion, there are many layers to unveil.
